What do you think of when you think about heaven? Does it make you eager to go there? Today? Sometimes myths and misconceptions about heaven give us a stilted view of what it is like and even where it will be. It doesn't sound very appealing to many people. Charlie addresses five myths about heaven:
- We will become angels in heaven
- We will live in heaven forever
- Heaven will be boring
- We will miss our old life
- Everyone will go there
He uses many passages to clarify what heaven is like, such as Psalm 16:11; 1 Corinthians 15:48; 2 Corinthians 5:1-8; Philippians 1:21-23; Revelation 21:1-3. Most importantly, Charlie makes it clear what one has to do to get to heaven and how those who are going should live.
